This image is a quick personal project I did to try Substance Painter. I just took a model I already had in my library and created an old and rusty metal looking shader for it. Exported it back to Maya and rendered with V-Ray. The backdrop is the HDR I used, the good old ”Old Industrial Hall,” which some of you probably recognize right away.

I enjoyed the workflow with Substance Painter, which reminded me a lot of how I work in Maya, just mixing a lot of procedurals and dirt/grime maps to. I hope to be able to use it in production soon and dive into Substance Designer as well.
